Would you stop if you saw this little girl on the street?

A girl is out on the street. When she is well dressed, people stop and greet; but when she is in dirty clothes, no one cares.

To know more:

But the situation she’s in is very real. Every day, millions of children living in poverty are ignored, pushed aside and deprived of everything they need to thrive. It doesn’t need to be this way. UNICEF 2016 State of the World’s Children Report is a call to action for the world to treat its least fortunate children the way it treats its luckier children.

Food for Thought:

  1. What experiences did the girl in the video encounter? (hint: the girl’s dress, coffee shop customer’s response, the girl’s response)
  2. Why was the girl being given different attitudes when her appearance changed?
  3. Which is the most memorable part of the video for you?
  4. If you see this girl, what will you say to her? Try to express your thoughts/feelings/support to her in one sentence.
