Photo Story: Children succeed in Emotional Learning under COVID-19 (Jordan)

 

 

Story Behind the Photo

Hanan, 11 and a half years, lives in Za’atari refugee camp based in Jordan and is in 6th grade. She attends a UNICEF Makani centre for learning support and child protection services. In March, Hanan’s school closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. It was the most difficult time of her life as she didn’t understand much through the distance learning. Also, she loves attending her local UNICEF Makani centre, which is similar to school that learns subjects, but also gets to play games. Even in her Maths lesson, she does fun activities.

 

Method

1. Print out the photo (A2 / A3 size), post it in your school’s walls or as the teaching materials in the classrooms
