SDGs learning activity guide: Climate action through upcycling

 

 

Background

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 to end poverty, reduce inequality and build more peaceful, prosperous societies by 2030. Also known as the Global Goals, the SDGs are a call to action to create a world where no one is left behind.

 

The SDGs learning activity aims to increase student’s understanding of the SDGs. It also encourages students to discuss their own climate action through upcycling.

- To understand the Sustainable Development Goals

- To develop teamwork and effective communication skills through group discussions

- To express creativity while improving students’ research and problem-solving skills through proposing upcycling methods
