What is “the Global Goals”?

On 25 September 2015, 193 world leaders committed to 17 Global Goals to achieve 3 extraordinary things in the next 15 years. The 3 extraordinary things are:

  1. End extreme poverty;

  2. Fight inequality & injustice;

  3. Fix climate change.

The Global Goals Fact Sheet series provides an introduction on the 17 global goals' targets, data, the impacts on children and suggested individual actions.
